We provide speech therapy to children aged 0-6 with communication difficulties (e.g. articulation, language, stuttering).

Description

Karen Ip Speech and Language Clinic has been providing speech therapy services in Canberra and surrounding regions (e.g. Queanbeyan) since March 2010. Karen specialises in working with young children (aged 0-6) presenting with communication difficulties such as - articulation and/or phonological delay - childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) - language delays - stuttering - social communication difficulties - developmental delays - Autism Spectrum Disorder We also give parents advice on early feeding difficulties (e.g. food refusal, difficulty transitioning to lumpy food). Karen is a certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. She is also a Hanen- Certified Speech Language Pathologist. She especially enjoys working with toddlers and their parents on how to improve their language skills by delivering the hands-on parent friendly program called 'It Takes Two to Talk'. And the Hanen Program called 'More Than Words' is also suitable for parents with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
