Description

Authentic, creative and free spirited, Kate’s talent is her gift. Kate’s passion for hair is her motivation to achieve and stand out. Her meticulous way of working and her attitude for customer’s satisfaction, defined by her style and her personality have become her trademark. The determination and confidence shown during her career keeps growing as she gets more involved in the fashion industry. Kate grew up in Prince Albert and studied Cosmetology at SIAST Woodland Campus. After achieving Journeyperson status she dedicated herself to education attending product knowledge classes through Joico, Wella, Iso, AG, Label M, Unite, Hotheads Extensions (Kate is a Certified Hotheads Extension Specialist), Redken, and Schwarzkopf (She is also the Provincial Educator for colour and product knowledge). Kate attended the ABA Hair Show every year and even volunteered with the Schwarzkopf Stage working under Paul Periera, Natasha Ateah, and Sue Speers. Kate challenges herself every day to push her skills above and beyond. She loves to be involved in photo shoots and film. Kate styled hair for Devin McAdam’s film “Encouragement”, which premiered at the Roxy! Kate also specializes in exciting hair colour, precision cuts, curly hair (Kate personally has curly hair and totally understands the challenges of working with texture!), extensions and men's styling. Kate keeps up to date with all current trends and continually is taking classes to ensure she has mastered the most modern techniques. Kate just returned from Vancouver and Toronto where she studied at the Schwarzkopf ASK Academy! Currently Kate is styling hair at The Lemon Tree Salon & Studio and is the Saskatchewan Schwarzkopf Educator.
