I am a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and therefore follow a code of conduct for professional practice, and have an accreditation to work as a Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW). Since working in the social care field, I have a gained a wealth of knowledge and experience whilst supporting adults and children; whilst employed in both government and non-government sectors within Aged Care, Homelessness, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, Youth Offending, Probation, Child Protection, Disability and Rehabilitation Services, Hospital, Mental Health, as well as the Community Mental Health. I have had the opportunity to live and work in regional states within Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia, Tasmania, and I’m now based in Rockingham, WA. Lighthouse Counselling Service WA has been established to provide a level of service for individuals who feel the need to change, to overcome a loss or have a need to move forward in life; for one reason or another.
