Description

Gateway’s Limitless Taekwon Do program is not your typical martial arts school. Taekwon Do was created in Korea in hopes to develop peace and justice around the world and to cultivate honorable members of society that would, in turn, further develop their community to a place of harmony, righteousness, discipline and responsibility. Limitless Taekwon Do has the intentions to make an impact on the lives of the youth and teenagers across the Greater Toronto Area. We believe that Taekwon Do can be a powerful outlet to positively influence those who are in the mercy of bullying, addictions, gangs, drugs, violence and are lacking in the development of character, hard work, ambition, servitude, responsibility, respect, courtesy and integrity. Taekwon Do being a sport and martial art can be physically demanding but overall exciting and motivationally challenging with the right attitude. Because it is also a sport it brings a child or a teenager to a familiar environment of high energy, friendly competition and of course a lot of FUN!! Right from the very beginning students are trained and conditioned to warm up and stretch before practicing any form of kicking or punching which is vital to the safety of each and every student. Safety is an essential mandate in every function of Taekwon do from the fundamental techniques to the cool down stretching at every session.
