Hi there! My name is Edan and I am here to bring music into your life! This is a little about me: I grew up loving music like anyone in the world. I was immediately involved with choir and band starting at age of 9. I started off playing flute and had continued playing the flute all throughout life. (Adding in Harmonium and Miradang Drums for chants) But in school, Always competitive and being first chair in band, I then started to play piccolo when marching band days were coming into my life around 15 years old. This was in Iowa where the music was lively and vibrant throughout the schools. But then I had to move back to Arizona where the music was so belittled in school. Coming closer to high school graduation, I became discouraged and distant from involving music in my everyday life after high school because my father was $$/educationally driven and felt there was no $$ to be made in that industry....My mother on the other hand also always told me to always love what you do, then you will never feel like you worked a day in your life.... I want to make it a point that we all can play music/work with music and make that $$ ! Since my dad was against this profession, he wouldn't cover college for me, so I personally put myself through school at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences to grasp the industry as a whole, graduating with a degree in Audio Engineering and music business. I then did a few years of free internships to build up the resume, (Capitol Records in LA, major studios in LA, Radio stations in AZ) and have come to terms that I do not want to do free work anymore for multi million dollar companies/labels/studios, nor do I want to see so many artist out there giving away their talent for free..... its one thing if artists are choosing to do so, its another when business who make $$ off you, will not pay you for your talent/skills/energy. . . but they're clearly still making money having you as their background music... I do believe music makes the world go around, and the next thing that everyone needs to get around the world is money. I am actively searching for venues and reliable artists to continue this dream and show that you can make a living off of what you love to do in life. Music is Love-Sharing love, brings joy to all forms of life- simple as that.
