Welcome to Loose Change Records. LCR has been founded out of a love of vinyl. We invest our own hard earned money in pressing records for unsigned bands as funds become available. Our philosophy revolves around the idea of giving bands and fans alike, what they want and most value- Vinyl!!! People spend alot of time writing and recording music so it'd be nice if atleast some of it were released on the old format. You can also support independent music by helping press it onto vinyl with your loose change! Submitting music to be considered for release on 7" vinyl (150 copies)- First up- please understand that it won't be possible to press all of the submissions we receive. Preferred styles range from metal to all types of extreme metal but having said that we'll also be looking after our mates bands who play lighter music. Other styles will also be considered. Partially or fully funded? If your band is able to fund half of the pressing costs = $550 you're more likely to be considered than a band requiring full funding = $1100, but the final decision will be based on the music. Send your CD including a note listing 3 tracks which you'd like considered. It's likely that only these 3 tracks will be listened to so pick your best!! Also include a contact email address and a request for either partial or full funding. Artwork in 300dpi. Conditions- Loose Change Records logo and website to be included, legibly, on the back cover. 30 copies remain with LCR for local distribution.
