A peaceful and mindful child is a learning child. I want to help children and adults alike find their calm in our busy world.

Description

I am a teacher and over any years of spending time with children and their parents I have come to the realisation that ALL kids need to learn how to be mindful and peaceful so I am starting on a journey to teach them just that. I believe that these are skills that are foundational to all other learning. Last year I went searching for ways that I can bring peace and mindfulness to children and their parents and found Relax Kids. Here the journey begins let's see where it bring us. Here's some of what you can expect in a class: The classes will run on a different theme each week but they will all run in the following manner: 1. Movement: medium to high energy games designed to meet the kids energy levels 2. Play: in my opinion the best way for everyone to learn 3. Stretch: yoga like movements designed to start moving the energy levels down 4. Massage: the children are taught appropriate ways of massaging each other (mostly on the back and arms) or self-massage if they are more comfortable with this 5. Breathing exercises: calming child approach to breathing 6. Believe: here children work with positive affirmations both with self and each other 7. Meditations: relaxing child centred visualisations Children will be encouraged to check in with their emotions regularly through-out the class

• Fridays: 15:20- 16:20, 16:30- 17:30
• Saturdays: 09:30- 10:30
