Description

Welcome to my Facebook page! My name is Rutu and I am a self taught makeup artist. My passion for makeup started at a very young age….with my mother’s lipsticks and pressed powders! When I immigrated to the United States with my family, I brought along some of my Indian beauty essentials and so my love for makeup continued. As I got older, my love turned into passion which turned into obsession when I discovered Sephora and other higher end makeup brands. To please my parents (and to give myself the “college experience”) I went to college and studied accounting but my creative side was always at the center of my heart. Fast forward few years later, I realized that my itch for beauty and makeup was still there. I realized that I wanted to help other women (or men, if that’s your thing) feel even more beautiful than they already are through the application of makeup using different techniques I came to learn over the years and by using some of the products that I've come to love. Don’t get me wrong, I still have A LOT to learn but I feel that I've gathered enough knowledge to pass onto others so why not?! I provide makeup artistry services for any and all occasions from Halloween to weddings and everything in between!
