The Marine Museum of the Great Lakes was founded in 1975. It was once located at the Kingston Dry Dock at 55 Ontario St., Kingston, Ontario. The property was sold by the federal government in 2016 and the museum has moved all the collections into storage and now has a storefront office at 53 Yonge St., Kingston, ON. The museum will reopen when it finds a new location to display the collections. Office hours are open year round.
