Description

For over 12 years Mark A. Routhier has been working in the Ottawa construction industry. Before returning to his family contracting roots, Mark studied Architectural Technology at Algonquin College from 1999-2002. After Algonquin, Mark worked for a local Ottawa architect and a local condo developer, where he worked on a variety of projects, such as custom homes, commercial plazas, condo apartment buildings and much more. Through that experience, Mark developed extensive knowledge in design and construction, building codes, construction drawings, permits, and so much more. In 2005, Mark launched his own business, Mark A. Routhier Renovation and Repair, and then teamed up with his father in his father’s renovation business. During that time, Mark performed many trade skills including carpentry, drywall, tiling, painting and much more. Today, combined with his architectural background, Mark now has the ability to offer his clients a wide range of services, ranging from basic design and construction advice for projects, to small repairs and larger renovations. Currently the bulk of Mark’s services are for local Non-profit, Co-operative, and Condominium Housing Corporations, but he also does a lot of work for private landlords and private homeowners too.
