The Markham Badminton Club (MBC) is a Not-for-Profit Organization that is managed entirely by community volunteers (Board of Directors, Youth Council, Gym Operations Managers, Instructors, and Special Event Helpers) who receive no remuneration.
We have several locations. HOURS: Saturday Nights from 7-10----> Bur Oak Secondary School, Markville Secondary School, St. Augustine Catholic Secondary School, Markham District High School, and St. Brother Andre Catholic High School Sunday Sessions: St. Augustine Catholic Secondary School-->9:30am-12:30am Bur Oak Secondary School-->1:30pm-4:30pm Markham District High School-->1:00pm-4:00pm and 4:00pm- 7:00 pm For more information, please visit our website at: http://www.markhambadminton.com/ Our mission is to provide an introduction and promote badminton at a grass roots/community level. The Markham Badminton Club exists for the purpose of members who wish to balance their family lifestyle with physical activity by playing recreational badminton. After the instructional sessions, families are encouraged to play not just amongst themselves, but with others at the same playing level. We strive to ensure members enjoy badminton, by creating a family-friendly environment while at the same time providing opportunities for the more passionate players to progress to competition.

Trudeau Music, is the music department at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School, located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Starting in 2002, the department has grown considerably and now consists of more than 400 students. Over the years, Trudeau Music has traveled to New York City, Chicago, and Washington D.C., as well as receiving international recognition in Austria and Italy. The department has annually invited world-renowned composers such as Samuel Hazo, Frank Ticheli, Elliot del Borgo, Robert Sheldon, Stephen Bulla and clinicians such as Paula Holcomb to work with students. Repertoire courses (consisting of full ensemble rehearsals) occur after school-hours. The Repertoire course is included as a co-requisite with this course.
