I figured this would be an easier way to keep everyone updated on the workshops offered on Musician's Health!

MUSA and MGSS are pleased to present you with "Musician's Health Week", which will occur the week after the break, March 11th-15th. During this week, a series of guest speakers will come to the school to give lectures on maintaining your health as a musician!! The classes are free, and all students and teachers are welcome to attend. Here is the schedule breakdown: -Monday 11th, 2:30-4:30pm: Alexander Technique Class, presented by Lawrence Smith room C-306. PLEASE NOTE: there is a 10 person capacity of participants for this class, if you are interested in participating, please email athletics@mgcillmusa.ca to confirm. You are still encouraged to come to the class on the day of, to see if participation room has opened. -Tuesday 12th: TBD -Wednesday 13th, 10:00-12:00pm: Bioenergetics Class, presented by Neil Whitehouse room C-302 ~This is a bodyworks class, which aims to increase your body's freedom, to breath, move and express itself.Check out this youtube video which describes bioenergetics in greater detail: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghZg34hKeCw ~Also check out the facebook page!: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sensations-Mcgill/343175342472354 -Thursday 14th, 11:30am-1:00pm: Shiatsu Class, presented by Professor Louise Campbell, room C-310 ~This workshop will focus on posture in relation to the instrument. Professor Campbell will includes games and exercises with objects other than instruments in order to better understand the relationship to the instrument. ~Bring your instrument, and a few people may have the opportunity to play -Friday 15th: TBD
