One of the newest additions to Davisville Health, Naturopathic Doctor Meera Dossa brings with her a strong affinity for gastrointestinal health. Her own personal battle with Crohns and Colitis has contributed significantly to her interest and passion for all matters related to the gut. As part of her naturopathic workup, Meera uses tools such as a thorough and investigative intake, various lab and in-house tests, and Functional Medicine tests to form individualized patient plans. Modalities used include lifestyle and dietary modifications, nutritional counselling and supplementation and intravenous vitamin therapy. Since beginning her practice in 2007, Meera has treated numerous health conditions ranging from cardiovascular disease, allergies, and autoimmune conditions. Along with being registered with the BDDT-N, Meera is also a member in good standing with both the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
