With Louisville's most premium sound and light system hosted in such a modern and unique space, seeing incredible artists like Meghan Trainor, Corey Smith, Ghost, and Ace Frehley is a once in a lifetime experience. Housed in the historic Wright-Taylor building, Mercury Ballroom is home to many of Louisville's best events, from concerts, to conventions, weddings, and holiday parties. With its modern and funky interior, Mercury Ballroom is the perfect place to go if you're looking for a good time! *SEEING A SHOW* The Mercury Ballroom is a standing room only general admission venue with the most premium sound and light systems in the city. The lower level is a large open room that packs full of exciting and enthusiastic fans throughout the night. We recommend arriving early or purchasing a Fast Lane Pass for early access into the venue so that you can snag those front row spots! We always recommend buying tickets in advance, but the box office opens 1 hour before door time for purchases or will call pickup. The box office is located just south of the building in the alley between Mercury Ballroom and Louisville Public Media. For daily box office needs, our main box is open from 12p-5p and office located at 625 S. 4th Street. Accessible seating is available and is located near the stage on the house left. Fans can obtain seating by just mentioning their needs when they arrive. ADA seating is first-come, first-serve so plan to arrive early if you have special needs. Concessions are located both upstairs and on the main floor and cater to a wide selection of craft beers, drafts, bourbons, and premium cocktails. Talk to our staff about the unique specials for the evening! The upstairs horseshoes around the stage for an even greater vantage point and is open for GA on most occasions. The upstairs features tiered and table seating for fans that would like to enjoy the show away from the crowd. Fans can purchase these premium seats in advance (See VIP tab for more info) or upgrade on the night of the show - just ask a staff member for assistance. Also found upstairs is our private VIP Lounge complete with an exclusive bar, dance area, and private viewing space. *FASTLANE* As the venue is all general admission, it is important to get in the venue first to grab the front row spots! Fast Lane passes are $10 and can be purchased online or at the box office when you arrive. At door time, the Fast Lane doors will open first, allowing all fans with Fast Lane passes to enter the room and get settled. Once all Fast Lane purchasers are in the venue, general admission doors will open to the rest of the crowd. We highly recommend getting a Fast Lane pass vs. waiting all morning in line to see your favorite band! *PREMIUM VIP SEATING* Don't just see a show! Be a VIP! All Mercury Ballroom concerts offer an incredible experience, but why not make your night even more spectacular by being a VIP! Our venue VIP Package includes prime seat locations, exclusive VIP Lounge access, complimentary parking, VIP express entry, and in-seat beverage service. The Wright Taylor building, now housing the Mercury Ballroom, was originally constructed in 1928 as office space for Wright & Taylor, Inc. , distributers of Old Charter Bourbon Whiskey. The Old Charter Distillery was located across the street on the northwest corner of 4th and Chestnut St. During the prohibition era and through the late 1960s, the building housed a variety of small commercial businesses. Added to the National Register of Historic places in 1984, the Wright-Taylor Building was a marvel in its day for its imaginative use of stylistic motifs and variety of color, and remains a rare local example of Tudor-Gothic architecture. The Mercury Ballroom is proud to utilize this beautiful historic building to host Louisville's greatest concerts and events.
