Description
Like the other 35 health units in Ontario, the Middlesex-London Health Unit delivers programs and services that are part of the Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA) to the people who live in London and Middlesex County. The Health Unit does this according to a set of rules called the Ontario Public Health Standards. Our mission is to promote and protect the health of our community.

The Health Unit provides these services and programs at its offices in downtown London and in Strathroy. The downtown London office is at 50 King Street near the forks of the Thames River. This is where you can get immunized, access dental health programs, sexual health and family planning services and also where you can take several classes and workshops. Many of these services are also offered at the Health Unit’s Strathroy office located in the Kenwick Mall at 51 Front Street.Company Rating

Founded by a police officer who lost his teenage son to muscular dystrophy, Sunshine now has volunteer chapters across the country and has made dreams come true for over 8,000 children. Since 1987, Sunshine has been trusted by families and healthcare providers to make dreams come true for kids with with severe physical disabilities (such as spina bifida or cerebral palsy) as well as life-threatening illnesses. Over 80% of Sunshine Kids are challenged by a severe physical disability.
