I have been inspired by some pretty incredible people in my life to pick up a camera and be creative, which is exactly what I have done.

Description

My name is Melodee Fiske. I have lived in Mesa, Arizona since June of 2003. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2008. I taught from 2009 to 2012, when I had my first child, Rowen. So what is a teacher doing as a photographer? I have been inspired by some pretty incredible people in my life to pick up a camera and be creative, which is exactly what I have done. In the last few years, I have photographed sports teams, events, families, maternity, individuals, engagements, scenery and have recently opened the door to weddings. I first began taking pictures for fun but with each click of the shutter I became more and more passionate about what was on the other side of the camera. For those few moments, time stands still. The young stay young and new love lasts forever, all with one picture. A picture truly is worth more than a thousand words but being the one to take that picture can’t be described. Because photography is a growing passion of mine, I have started MLFotography to branch out, meet you and capture your memories. I can’t wait to meet you.
