Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has an international collection of art from 1400 to the present day, making it unique in the Netherlands. The museum manages and preserves this extraordinary collection. The new Collection Building will allow the public to see the professionalism with which the museum cares for its own collection and those of private collectors. The museum’s displays and special exhibitions are presented with the conviction that art unites the past, present and future. The museum advises visitors to use public transport: from the Central Station take the subway line A, B or C in the direction of Schiedam Centrum or De Akkers.
