Description

Our story of caring for seniors began years ago. Our family was large and many of our members were well into their 60s when we were born. My sister and brother and I grew-up with aunts and uncles who doted on us as they were growing into their senior years. We loved hearing their stories and while we were young adults loved interacting with them in helpful ways. Taking them shopping, helping organize areas in their homes and preparing meals for them was always a happy time. We understood they truly valued their independence and remaining in their own homes. They taught us the joy of caring across generations. Of course our own families got started and years passed with our beloved relatives beginning to show the signs of aging. Life has not been the same without the joy of our senior relatives. Many of my friends are working full time and feel badly about not being able to be available when their parents need them. They now have what we grew-up with- senior family members! We began caring for two seniors and realized we had found our passion. But for everyone we cared for, there were more who could have used the same family support. We needed a bigger family to share the care! My Choice In-Home Senior Services is the result of our passion for seniors; our family of caregivers helping seniors and their families. We help seniors say 'It's MY CHOICE to stay in my home for as long as I can".
