We are passionate about Pakistani food and are proud to present our distinct range of “Home Style” recipes including the quintessential Karachi ka Khana. We have carefully selected a unique selection of street-style snacks as well as homely meals which are served on every street corners and homes all over Pakistan. Our inspiration is the delicious food served all over Pakistan right next to a painted truck, minibus or a rickshaw, The famous truck-art which is synonymous with Pakistan. All across Pakistan, this rolling folk art has turned village lanes, city streets and long-distance highways into a national gallery without walls. The vast majority of Pakistan’s trucks, buses and motorized rickshaws are filled with vibrant colors, interesting quotes, religious verses and intriguing poetry. The dazzling, eclectic choice of images depicts the cultural of Pakistan. From Pakistani film stars to Cricket legends and from Pakistani military heroes to Princess Diana, each truck tells a different tale. Others give prominence to religious shrines like the Ka’bah in Makkah and the Faysal Mosque in Islamabad. Dreamlike scenes of wooded lakes and snow-capped mountains, alpine hunting lodges and tigers chasing deer are framed by flowers and diamond-shaped reflective strips in bright red, orange and green. All the cabs, rickshaws, minibuses and trucks open onto gaudy treasure caves filled with artificial roses and marigolds spun of silk and satin, painted on side panels and pastel-colored scarves. We take our inspiration from these intricate truck art design and would like to show the different cultures of Pakistan through our Delicious foods.
