NaMa is a catering company that serves the Albuquerque Charter School market. NaMa offers creative, colorful, organic, local and delicious lunch for students attending Alice King Community School, San Felipe School, and Corrales International School. This service offers quite a change for parents and children as most charter schools do not have a kitchen and are unable to provide a hot lunch for their students. Parents and staff must pack a sac lunch. Most people make the assumption that “school lunch” food means ordinary, processed, cafeteria food. NaMa catering will inject new life into the kids lunch market, using owner Jamie Belen’s culinary skills to develop seasonal, creative new options. Being a mother of school age children, Jamie has an in depth knowledge of children and how they eat. Her industry insight, and a great market opportunity will allow NaMa Catering to reach new levels in the food industry.
