The game of Pétanque is becoming an increasingly popular sport in the UK, in recognition of which Nottingham City Council is offering its support to help establish a new Pétanque club. The Grand Opening is scheduled for Saturday, 23rd April, so please feel free to come and join us. We also welcome anyone who wishes to play as equipment will be available on the day. Some key features of the club: * 28 international-sized pistes due for completion in Spring 2011, with the possibility of splitting into 36 pistes for casual play. * Floodlighting for entire Pétanque terrain. * Club Pavilion allowing for toilet access and members area.
