Description
O'Neill Food For Thought is a community food drive that accepts non-perishable food items. The items will be donated to local food banks and any money raised will also go towards purchasing food to be donated. O'Neill Food For Thought will be consisting of three large events. 1) O'Neill C.V.I. and the surrounding schools will be the focal point of the primary food drive. The schools will compete in order to raise the most food and prizes will be available. 2) The community food drive will be open to anyone in the community beginning October 15. Collection boxes will be found all around the region and will be open to all willing to help. 3) The closing banquet will take place in mid January (date TBD) at a local coffee shop (location TBD). There will be live performances, prizes and slideshows to celebrate all that we as a community have accomplished. All will be welcome at this event.
