Creative Curriculum Centre-Adult Ability Education
828 Legion Road, Burlington , ON null Canada

The Creative Curriculum Centre was formed in mid- July by a group of concerned parent / providers. These individuals were collectively concerned that their Adult Ability Education day program should be transparent and run by professionals. The Creative Curriculum Centre began servicing three families. Our President agreed that we could utilize his residents as a meeting place till a permanent location could be found. By September our numbers grew to 7 students and the fall program commenced. Later, that month we hired a part time teacher Alyssa Syer. She is a Social Service worker graduate from Mohawk College. Alyssa had worked previously with our students. By the end of September the Creative Curriculum Centre had a suitable location. The Royal Canadian Legion –Branch 60 graciously accepted to aid our program by providing us a permanent location.
