My interest in Massage Therapy began as a child when I would give shoulder massages to my third grade teacher during our lunch period. She would insist that I had a gift, and I became familiar with the power of healing through touch. I enrolled in massage school straight out of high school, and began my journey. My approach to giving a great massage is that of a more holistic, energy balancing approach. The Greek philosopher Plato said: "The cure of the part should not be attempted without the treatment of the whole. No attempt should be made to cure the body without the soul...this is the error of our day, the physicians first separate the soul from the body." It is my belief that healing of the body's physical form should start with balancing the body's energy, therefore making it easier for the body to heal itself. It is my priority to integrate this principle into every massage I give through reflexology techniques and channeling energy through my hands. It is more than a massage, it is an experience.
