Description

Trading decision systems send a large volume of electronic orders at high frequency to multiple marketplaces, driving profitability and leveraging the small statistical advantage. Key to success are high statistical probability of a correct decision, large trading volumes, low transaction costs, very rapid trading (measured in milliseconds) and limited capital at risk. The algorithms lose their effectiveness over time as the market naturally adjusts, requiring constant development of new strategies. Pointus aims to strike a balance between abandoning ideas with a limited upside, and exploring ideas to their full potential. With more than 70 years of combined experience, the senior management team strives to achieve this balance and develop successful trading strategies.
