Pricing & Orders . How to Commission a Portrait Please note: ■All Painted Pets portraits are created only from photographs ■I paint Head and shoulders only. ■The prices are for one animal pet portrait, but feel free to discuss other requirements. ■‘Gouache’, is my preferred medium for the pet portrait, but feel free to discuss other options. ■Each portrait is painted on Acid Free Card mostly green or blue background, but not limited to the background color. ■Your pet’s portrait is generally unframed. However, if you require framing feel free to discuss options and quotes. How to start: 1.Email your contact details (Name, phone, email, address) 2.Send me at least 2 photographs of your pet/s indicating your preference for each one. Your photos should be clear, in focus and not too far away with good face detail. Please note that clearer the photographs, the better your portrait will be. I may use more than one photograph as a reference when painting a Pet Portrait. 3.Tell me your preferred size, and give me some idea of what you want your Pet Portrait to look like e.g. background color, anything in the photograph, such as your pet’s collar that you want included or not included 4.Your price will be confirmed by email. If you choose to proceed, you send ‘Portret-a- Pet’ a 50% deposit to secure your painting and the work begins. You can pay by Pay Pal, Direct Deposit or Cheque. Note: Please don’t send your banking details by email 5.When your contemporary animal portrait is finished, I will email you a digital picture of the finished work for you to approve. 6. The balance is then payable to ‘Portret-a-Pet and your pet portrait is carefully packed for delivery with your final receipt For a Special Occasion A birthday, anniversary, retirement etc, I will work to a deadline if at all possible — but please note that rushing a painting may lead to a disappointing result. If the timing is too tight, I may decline the commission. We can discuss your special timing requirements but an option is to consider giving a ‘Portret-a-Pet’ Gift Certificate. It makes a fine gift on the day and the recipient can look forward to receiving a great pet portrait, a second gift! Pricing Decide on a size to suit your hanging space and budget. 30 x 25 cm 12″ x 10″ $100 40 x 30 cm 16″ x 12″ $135 45 x 35 cm 18″ x 14″ $150 Delivery ■Delivery time can be from 4—10 weeks from start. ■Perth Metropolitan delivery is free as part of my service. ■Interstate and International delivery can be arranged by Portret-a-Pet – standard freight charges apply. ■Any additional delivery charges will be provided to you upon approval of the final painting.
