Programs & Services Education Services: resources, speakers for workshops, pamphlets, videos, articles about HIV and AIDS and related issues, pre and post test counseling. Support Services: one to one and group support, Client Assistance Program, food bank, vitamins, information, advocacy and referral to medical and other professional/health services. Community Outreach & Prevention: providing support and prevention education to groups in the community who are most at risk of HIV infection, youth, women, men who have sex with men (MSM), injection drug users. Hep C Information: providing information and prevention education about Hepatitis C to individuals and groups in the community. StreetWorks Needle Exchange: mobile van providing syringes/condoms/info/support to people who inject drugs; exchanges clean syringes for used ones. Support Housing: housing units for people with HIV or AIDS. 24 hour staff to assist with all aspects of health care & daily living. Caregiver Support Program: confidential counseling for friends/family & caregivers of people with HIV or AIDS. Friendly Visiting: volunteers visit people with HIV or AIDS in the home, community or medial facility. Fundraising/Special Events: Annual Walk for AIDS, Shaw Fair & Fete, health fairs, community events, Bingo. Volunteer Services: training, support and supervision of volunteers in all program areas

We are a community-based organization made up of dedicated and caring staff and volunteers committed to providing support, education and advocacy in a safe and confidential environment to all who are affected by HIV and AIDS. We provide innovative and proactive approaches to education, a harm-reduction model of prevention and a person-centered focus on support strategies for those affected by HIV.
