I'm a prairie girl from the western Canadian plains and I love all things vintage. I love to take the well-built, well-loved utilitarian items from the past and breathe new life into them , reviving them to something better than they ever were.

Welcome to my page! My name is Juanita and I live in Regina, SK , Canada. What started out as a hobby for me, has quickly developed into a tiny little wanna-be business. I'm not really making money but I do love transforming yesteryear's forgotten furnishings into usable, lovable, beautiful pieces that you can feel proud to display in your home. I love how the well built dressers of the 1930s and 40s are so solid that they have weathered years of wear, tear and moving. Better than IKEA! Solid wood, dove-tail drawers, hand carved- it's all so good and so useful. If you have a dresser, desk, table , chairs or some other wood heirloom or even just a garage sale find that you want brought back to life, I would love to help you out! The furniture speaks for itself. I can't make it look good if it doesn't already have character and personality. Very often I let pieces sit in my living room for days(or weeks) before I paint them. It's amazing how each piece is so different. But they all tell stories and that's the part I love. I love leaving the nicks and dents and rubbing glaze or dark wax into the crevices to enhance the story. I let the piece tell me what colour it should be. I haven't been let down yet(I have, however repainted one or two items when I rushed without listening to the story). Inbox me if you see something you like . I rarely, if ever, will paint two pieces exactly the same. The artistry and uniqueness of each piece is important to me and I want my clients to walk away with a one of a kind piece. Also, if you have purchased something from me and then you see a new piece I've painted and want it more, don't feel bad! Let me know and I will work with you to re-sell your first piece thus allowing you to upgrade! I may charge a 20% re-selling fee if you want me to buy it back though. But we can talk about that if the need arises. I want you to be happy- that's my goal. And I want you to love your furniture and your home too. Happy shopping!
