Feel it. --------------------------------------------- Auto-immune dis-ease has been my blessing in disguise. It has taken me some time to recover after a massive 8 years of Rheumatoid Arthritis coursing through my body like a freight train crashing into my joints, debilitating me to the point where I couldn't walk without assistance. My journey reclaiming my health included learning how to love my body again, to value my health and understand the importance of becoming aware of my thoughts. If you have never experienced having the use of your fingers and hands or the delicious sensation of standing on your own two feet taken from you, then you may find it challenging to understand just how deeply I feel blessed for my life. I am a very, very lucky woman. Thanks to great doctors, western medicine and my unrelenting passion to understand the mind / body connection, not only do I have complete use of all of my fingers, hands, toes & feet, I can now support my entire body weight upside down if want too! Yoga and it's teachings has helped me to reconnect to my body and heal from the inside out, bringing life affirming oxygen to my muscles and joints. That's where the name has come from, Precious Breath. Life has taught me that by becoming aware of your breath, bringing your awareness to yourself and your thoughts - you can help yourself overcome anything.
