We are two mums with over 59 years combined child rearing experience. We also have over 60 years of work experience in the fields of medicine, education and counselling. Our aim is to help you have an easier life with your kids and supply you with information you want to know. We want to help you in any way we can to raise your children to be the best they can be with a positive outlook on life, and give you the skills both you and they need to achieve this. Ask us anything and we can help you, nothing is off limits. We can write an eBook, develop a course, do a webinar or develop a personal plan to help you achieve your goals. We are forward thinking and liberal minded, nothing shocks us and we are here with the express purpose of helping you and your children. Between us we have 9 kids, 3 grand children, have had 4 caesarians, 1 miscarriage, 4 natural no drug births and a foster child! Add to that an assortment of various medical conditions we have oodles of experiences to share and help you conquer anything that comes your way. You want to hear about anything then just ask! All topics are open for discussion and we only have you and your children’s interests at heart. We cater for everyone of any age regardless of circumstance and are just here to help. Although we are based in Australia we are happy to help anyone wherever you may be in the world, via email, Skype, google hangout and webinars via the website or you tube. We speak from the heart and are willing to share our own experiences if this helps you. After studying, I completed my teaching "country service" in Charters Towers. We moved to Townsville in 2012 and bought our house in Deeragun, where I live with my husband and our 18 month old Son. I am a Bachelor Qualified teacher with 10 years experience. I have worked in Primary and High Schools in a range of areas including: learning support, behaviour support and school administration. During this time I also completed my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In 2012 I completed my certificate III in Children's Services (Childcare) and went on to complete my Diploma in Children's Services (Childcare) in 2013. I also hold a Supervisors Certificate. Inspiring Minds was opened in February 2015. In addition to running my own day-care I tutor adult learners for a couple of hours per week at TAFE in the childcare curriculum. I have my Blue card and current Teachers Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers. I hold a current First Aid certificate and CPR with asthma and anaphylaxis. I usually close on Public Holidays and QLD State School Holidays (open for Student Free Days) however, I am able to negotiate a mutually beneficial schedule. Fees $8.90 per hour (inclusive of all scheme fees) An 8hr minimum daily booking applies. I am CCB/CCR approved. You may elect to pay the full fee and be reimbursed by Centrelink or authorise your Centrelink payments through Lady Gowrie.
