Profitable Giving Canada is a federally registered Not-For-Profit organization, incorporated by Letters Patent. As a Not-For-Profit, there are no shareholders or owners. We exist entirely for the benefit of our members and to pursue the objects of our organization. We are open, transparent, democratic and neutral. We are run by a Board of Directors, elected by members. We are a network of individuals, professionals, corporations and businesses across Canada that strive to show ordinary Canadians and Corporations on how they can benefit from compliant and regulated Profitable Giving. Profitable Giving Canada (PGC)—is born out of a new movement and a new language. Our members are uniting out of a national celebration that embraces socio-economic change. We hope you will be able to benefit from the fundamental shift in the way Canada’s cosmopolitan citizenry is speaking and thinking about economics, both locally and globally, and how they measure success and possibilities in the marketplace. In many ways, Canada is spearheading the real-life application of this academic movement. Canadians are increasingly addressing issues such as value and values. New efficiencies and frontiers are being created. Never-before-seen configurations of supply-chain management that succeed to bypass life-threatening delays and border restrictions are opening up vibrant new opportunities specifically dedicated to donation markets, rather than to consumption markets. We achieve the seemingly impossible end where, in donative markets, demand can actually increase as price increases. Profitable Giving Canada is the formal embodiment of a quickly-evolving movement that is getting attention among the world’s most respected universities and think tanks, industry leaders, politicians, and government.

The Fourth Sector is internationally recognized as the economic space where the public, private, and social sectors intersect. As the boundaries between these three traditional sectors are increasingly blurred, both in Canada and around the world, the Fourth Sector gains in prominence. The US Federal Trade Commission website estimates that the Fourth Sector accounts for approximately 5-15% of GDP, so the economic impact of this little known sector is immense. But the faster the sector grows, the more the law understandably lags behind it, creating a vacuum of regulatory oversight.
