Description
The Queen's Climbing Club is a student run organization that exposes individuals to a wide range of climbing opportunities. As a member of the club you will gain the knowledge and the confidence that you need to safely climb outdoors. With the aid from our professional instructor Robert Chisnall the club is able to offer year round theory and practical sessions. 1st Semester - Knot Basics and Intro to Gym climbing - Anchoring Theory and Practicals - Outdoor Climbing Safety - Introduction to Repelling and Ascending 2nd Semester - Ice climbing Theory and Practicals - Multi Pitch theory - Introduction to Lead Climbing - Self and Partner Rescue Throughout the Year we do many outdoor trips to places like Metcalfe Rock , Niagara Glen , Rumney , Red River Gorge etc.
