Who is Raven? Raven is my totem animal, Raven is a part of me and is my personal magic. Raven is my pen name if you like. No different to Stephen King or Jk Rowling (apart from the celebrity status haha). It is a choice that I have made to allow the two parts of me to work this way. Neither part of me can exist without the other. It is important to understand that the individual I am, the mother, the friend, the wife to my partner is one part of my life. I have a teacher and I am still learning on my spiritual path. Likewise Raven still has a teacher, a mentor, a healer. We are never done, we have never learnt it all and we are never perfect but that does not mean we cannot step out and help others on their journey. I have trained spiritually since my mid-teens under several teachers and mentors. Sometimes my mentor has not necessarily been spiritual in nature, and one of the most spiritual people I know who taught me a lot believes they are atheist. Sometimes the lesson is there even if we are not expecting it. I have had business mentors and academic mentors, I have even spent time understanding the Bible even though I do not agree with religion as such. Spiritually they have helped me develop as a person and as a healer in a spiritual sense every bit as much as my Spiritual Teacher. Ask yourself does it matter if it’s a monk or your boss who makes you believe in yourself…to make you genuinely see how bright your Light shines. No, the answer is no, for they may be fulfilling their path without even knowing they are. I have trained in Reiki, Open Channelling, Oracle Reading, Psychomatry, Past Life Work (regression and readings) Entity/hook/cord/curse removal and Scrying. It was from the last two areas that I learnt astral projection. Travelling and sending healing to the planet or individuals and channelling back what I have learnt is what I love to do. Often this means when reading for an individual I can see their place in the world around them, all the connections over this life and past ones. Here joins in the talent I have for seeing cords etc and removing them. When the two are used together I, or the skills that Raven receives from the Universe can show you an incredible amount of background about yourself and where the cords are binding you, and remove them. I have spent much time understanding how to clear not only a persons energy from negative influence or worse, but also your home and other places. It is the combination of these two gifts that I have a real passion for going further and helping others. Why the Raven? Raven is the animal who brings forth the messages from the Void. This is represented in her iridescent blue black feathers for the Void is that too. Many of us fear this darkness confusing it with ‘The Darkness’. It is not the same thing. The Void is the place where all the answers are, where the deepest secrets of the universe are kept, where anything in your imagination can be manifested. Entering the Void can be challenging for we want to fear the dark that envelops us at first but it is only the unknown that we fear. Our own power, the knowledge that we are on the brink of inner freedom and knowledge that will lead to Universal Love for ourselves and everything around us. Why Was Raven Created? I did not want to have an office or rooms where I treated people I really wanted to show what others can do. To help the very talented and amazing healers and readers I have met on this journey. I have a passion for helping others step out in their healing so those who need it can be assisted. I had a dream of a place where healers can be central and easily found, where integrity and mutual respect for the modalities our gifts manifest into is always present. I do not feel that I have all the answers for each person, or that I am any more talented than the next healer or medium I know but rather we all bring our own talents and skills for the greater good. The question was then how to bring everyone together so a person looking for a service can make an educated decision without any biased information. I wanted those who came to be genuinely free to pick which service they felt drawn to, if you need help then you would be able to discuss services without any bias towards one type of service. And that is how Ravens Sacred Sight was born. I developed a website which brings together a range of service providers who are professional and work with integrity. I envision this as a network, people working together for the greater good.
