Lack Of Motivation. I had a discussion with somebody last week about this topic. They asked me why their motivation to train goes away. I think that the question is inherently flawed. Motivation is what gives you that spark that you need in order to reach the decision to do a thing. To train. To learn to drive. To learn to cook. Anything. You can be desperate to get into the knickers of a certain crush, and that motivates you to get your ass into the gym and START doing something. What happens then? You don't lack the motivation. You still want those panties. You just lack the fucking DISCIPLINE to keep at it. You lack the STRENGTH OF CHARACTER to continue down a path that is FUCKING DIFFICULT. Stop thinking that the gym is just a place to go and develop your physical appearance and physical health. Once you decide that it's also a place to develop your strength of character, you'll get far more out of it. Discipline, motherfuckers.

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. We don't go into The Chapel to socialise. We step in there to improve. The only way to improve is to get OUT of that comfort zone, and GET UNCOMFORTABLE. SWEAT. SWEAR. LIFT. SCREAM. By the time you have finished your active workout, you should NOT feel refreshed. You should feel FUCKING EXHAUSTED. Without that dedication to discomfort, you might maintain. But, you will never improve. Stay safe.
