Riley's & The JUNCTION is a multi-faceted hospitality & entertainment venue that blends several traditionally separate themes into a unique all-in-one concept. Its elements include a full-sized Restaurant/Pub, a Billiard Parlor, a Cocktail Lounge, a Nightclub, and a Live Entertainment/Special Function venue. We offer our Franchise Partners many revenue opportunities ABOVE & BEYOND those found in typical hospitality concepts .... resulting in the whole being greater than the sum of its parts!! We have been operating in the hospitality & entertainment industry since 1988 and have focused upon the Riley's & The JUNCTION concept since 1999. Currently we operate two such locations in Oshawa and Peterborough with combined annual sales of $7.5M. This SUBSTANTIAL level of sales is driven by the five distinct operations that enable strong customer traffic across all day-parts (Lunch, After-Work, Dinner and Late-Night) and week-parts (Weekdays and Weekend) through six product lines (food & beverage sales, alcohol sales, billiards rental, admittance/ticket sales, special functions bookings and ATM fees). In addition, our much-improved alcohol-to-food ratio ... over traditional hospitality concepts ... lends itself to HIGHER operating margins. The existing locations are DOMINANT in their respective markets because the concept appeals to a wide variety of customers. Given our extensive service and product offerings, we are very successful with both the 21-39 as well as the 40-59 demographic. The typical location is 13,000-15,000 square feet ... ideally laid out over two storeys ... with an occupancy of 900-1,100 people. Our growth strategy is focused upon mid-size cities in Southern Ontario with an established downtown core and a strong university or college presence.
