Rock the Boat is a mobile book distributor based in Regina, SK. Our goal is to make radical reading material available on a range of topics. We aim to stimulate creative thinking, and contribute to a vibrant activist culture in our community.

Description

Rock the Boat Books is founded on anti-oppressive principles of equality, peace and social justice. We hope to network and collaborate with local organizations working toward social change and to provide activists with resources needed for political action. Event Tabling We operate primarily as a mobile book distributor, setting up tables at various events, festivals, conferences and shows in and around Regina. Check out our event notices or request us at your event! Special Orders Drop us a line, and we'll order it in for you. To order books, call 525-2949/522-0632 or send an e-mail to rocktheboatbooks@gmail.com We carry books in the following categories: anarchism decolonization DIY culture ecology feminism food politics gender politics globalization indigenous issues labour peace movement progressive parenting queer theory and more... We are always open to new material. If you're looking for a distributor for your zines, stickers, buttons, patches, etc., or if you would like to make a book recommendation, contact us and we'll consider it. Volunteer Opportunities We are looking for volunteers to help with tabling events, postering and to spread the word! You can help with the dissemination of radical media by encouraging friends and local stores to order from Rock the Boat Books in Regina and Turning the Tide Bookstore in Saskatoon.
