Overweight for most of my life, I struggled with challenges from clothes not fitting to being taunted, from being constantly lethargic and aching, to being unhappy. I started my journey to a healthier, happier life from belly dance. Through belly dance, I discovered the importance of fitness, strength and healthy eating. A system of defined goals, non-judgmental encouragement and support, as well as incremental challenges – at my own pace – was the key to developing the mental readiness and unwavering belief that I could and would succeed. I train my clients in the same way; I strive to make them feel good about exercise, to learn to love food that nourishes their body, and to start feeling confident, happy and positive from their very first workout. And that’s what makes the time with me different from all the other times you tried.
