The common misconception of automotive enthusiasts is that which they are all bad and aggressive drivers who have not one care about the safety of the public. The reality and fact is that automotive enthusiasts hold safety and community in high regards. Unfortunately, there are not many places for enthusiasts to gather and conduct their sports in a safe and organized manner. When some enthusiasts cannot afford a trip to an event in another region or area, they resort to unsafe activities on the public streets. San Antonio Car Meets intends to fill this need by organizing local meets, cruises, fundraisers, automotive sports, and other community beneficial events such as toy drives and defensive driving courses in the future. The organization intends to meet its goals through the contributions of a large and loyal group of supporters and local businesses. Together as a community, we can give enthusiasts a safe and controlled environment to gather and practice their desired sport, essentially moving the danger off of the street.
