Description

The Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation (SCIC) was formed in 1974 by international development agencies active in Saskatchewan. Today it encompasses the local committees of major churches, educational organizations and international development agencies. As the umbrella organization for international development agencies in Saskatchewan, SCIC has many tasks: - to disburse international development funds provided by the Government of Saskatchewan, - to facilitate communication and capacity building among member agencies in Saskatchewan and across the country, and - to explore new opportunities for Saskatchewan people to be educated and get involved in international cooperation and development.
