Bringing cult films to Sudbury, ON. All for a good cause!
Screenings for Benefit Tuesdays, or SB Tuesdays for short, is a non profit group that hosts screenings of cult films in order to raise funds for local grass roots organizations, charities and groups in need. We are a group of young professionals who saw a need to bring alternative cinema to Sudbury and with it a great opportunity to benefit local charities. We choose charities based on themes found in the films we screen and work with them to promote awareness and our events. All funds raised stay here in Sudbury. We have no paid staff, nor do we have a budget. After all marketing, participation, and theater costs are covered, all profit is donated to the selected charity. SB Tuesdays is a group of five young professionals coming from different backgrounds. We all bring unique skill sets to the table, making us a diversified and collaborative group. We all have our specified areas of expertise that together create an environment of teamwork, collaboration and fun. Our members are: Jessica Albanese - Finance Janet Evans - Logistics Emily Fournier - Volunteer Chantal Larochelle - Creative Director Joanne Lamoureux - Historian
