Scholfield Brothers' Oldsmobile was incorporated in 1954 by brothers Dick and Vic Scholfield in Augusta, Kansas. In 1957 they added Pontiac to the business, and over the next eight years, they built a reputation for selling a great product at a a fair price while providing the best service in the area. In 1965, Dick and Vic moved their entire operation from Augusta to Wichita, Kansas, dropping the Oldsmobile franchise. While this move was a big chance for the brothers, it didn't change their business philosophy. "Service means Sales" was their simple, but effective, way of stating that great customer service, covering all areas of the dealership, meant continued growth and prosperity for the business. Scholfield is one of Wichita's largest auto groups. The organization employs over 300 people, with 9 different locations throughout the city. Scholfield has an unrelenting commitment to excellence and the equitable treatment to its employees and customers.
