Description

Biography Since childhood, Sheikh Shamsher has been known to be a people person and passionate about his work. As a son of a pilot, he had the privilege to travel the world at an early age and had the opportunity to meet with people from different parts of the world. During his final year at the University of Windsor, Sheikh decided to volunteer for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex County Branch where he helped promote mental illness in order to reduce stigma in the community. He continued his volunteer job while finishing his B.A. in Psychology. With his hard work and commitment to his employer, Sheikh obtained a position at the group home immediately after he graduated from university. Within a year, Sheikh started working for the Housing Administration Department as a Housing Support Worker (HSW). Over the years, he collaborated with hundreds of landlords in Windsor-Essex County and provided shelter to many people in need. He is certified in the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) through the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA) and has years of experience dealing with the Landlord and Tenant Board. Because of his strong negotiation and organizational skills, Sheikh successfully completed his terms when he was elected to be a CUPE Local 3740 union steward, sergeant-at-arms and a member in the labour management committee. As a great communicator Sheikh demonstrated great leadership qualities when he worked as the Chair of the Social Committee and as a member of a Diversity Committee. He had the privilege to participate in the Failure Mode and Effective Analysis (FMEA) Team twice, and helped develop health & safety tools for people to live safely in the community. In 2014, Sheikh received the CMHA-WECB Fancy Award, Category: “Setting a Good Example”. “Client Centered” In Real Estate transactions, Sheikh considers himself as a “Client Centered” Sales Representative. Sheikh truly understands the vital importance of providing excellent “Customer Service”, and his clients are his number one priority. As a strong negotiator and an excellent advocate, Sheikh ensures a smooth transition throughout the process of each of his client’s transactions. “Capping System” Sheikh believes in quality services, NOT just quantity.
