We take this opportunity to introduce you to THE SPG ENGINEERING GROUP LTD. Consulting Structural and Building Rehabilitation Engineers. The Principal of the firm is Mr. Pat Silano, P. Eng., who originally incorporated the Company in 1981. Mr. Silano is a qualified Consulting Engineer registered with the Consulting Engineers of Ontario as well as the Professional Engineers of Ontario. The Company has been largely responsible for building restoration and rehabilitation services for the last thirty years. Our wide range experience includes structural design/analysis, restoration/reconstruction of reinforced concrete structures and building envelope systems. We specialize in Performance Audits and Reserve Fund Planning for both residential and commercial condominium complexes. We also perform life and fire safety audits as well as mechanical system assessments and retrofits. Our goal is to provide optimal engineering solutions to building construction and deterioration problems specifically designed to meet Client’s requirements. Our firm is actively involved with Condominium, Commercial/Office and Residential Buildings. We prepare long term restoration programs to meet our client’s financial requirements. We prepare extensive Condition Survey Reports which fully detail the nature of building deficiencies which have developed and repair alternatives available to the Client. We also prepare contract documents, execute project tendering, provide contract administration and construction review services.
