Българското Дружество в Калгари предприе инициативата за учредяване на Неделно Училище. Училището отвори вратите си за първи път на 7 Септември 2003 година. Българското Дружество в Калгари е основано през Март 2003 година. Управлението му се осъществява на доброволен принцип от Борд на Директорите, избран чрез гласуване от членовете на Дружеството. Учителите в Българското Неделно Училище “Св. Св. Кирил и Методий” с помощта на Президента и Борда на Директорите ръководят и контролират на доброволни начала дейността на училището. Учителите са работили в сферата на българското образование и повечето от тях в момента са в процес на лицензиране от канадската образователна система. Неделното Училище разчита и на помощта на родителите, които биха могли да подпомагат работата на учителите и учениците в учебния процес. The Calgary Bulgarian Society took initiative to create a Bulgarian Language School. The school opened its doors for the first time on September 7, 2003. The Calgary Bulgarian School was founded in March 2003. The management is on voluntary basis from a Board of Directors, which are elected through a voting process by the society"s members. The teachers at the Bulgarian Wekend School, "Saints Cyril and Methodius", with the help of the president and the Board of Directors manage the school also on voluntary basis. The teachers have all worked in the sphere of bulgarian education and most of them are currently in the process of getting licenced in the Canadian educational system. The school also relies on the help of parents, who can also help with the work of the teachers and students in the educational process.
