Description

'Starting Strong Inc' Is a pop up / mobile program that is available to all caregivers and children from birth to 5 years old. Through grants,donations and fundraising we are able to make this program affordable to all families. Both Jess and Mandy are Early childhood Educators with over a decade each of experience and knowledge regarding the importance of a childs first 5 years. As parents themselves they noticed a lack of affordable , structured programs in the Northern Gold Coast area so have decided to create one. Class times /places / fees: classes start January 2015 and run during the school year. Both the 1-3 year class and the 3-5 year class run at the same time. Paradise point park Tuesday 9:30 start ( lasts approx 1 hr) and wednesday also paradise point at 9:30am start for the combination class (again children over 3 yrs are welcome to attend without a parent as we will have extra staff on) $50 registration for the school term of 10 weeks. sorry no drop in available. bellies to babies info sessions ( pregnancy through till your baby is 1 year old) are free and run every second week paradise point 11:30-12:30 Tuesdays. This is a great opportunity to meet other new mums as well as learn from our info sessions brought to you by qualified professionals in many different fields. class descriptions 1-3 year class ( care giver attends) These classes focus on introducing and encouraging your toddlers fine and gross motor skills, social interactions, creativity and imagination while providing the caregiver with support and ideas on how to facilitate these activities at home. 3-5 year class (parents onsite but not attending) This program is aimed at teaching your child skills that will be beneficial for 'prep' and 'school life'. All classes are kept at a manageable size with activities rotating from fine motor and literacy skills , gross motor and understanding of group games , dramatic play and arts.
