What does being debt free look like to you? Why would you want to be debt free and build wealth? Answering those questions places you on the path to freedom. Let me share a bit of my own journey...... We had been in debt 2 different times, once with a plan and once without. We learned that knowledge with application was key to winning. We didn't plan to fail, we just failed to plan. In 2008 we began on this plan to pay off debt, a second time. After having been on the plan for about a year, Richard said, you should teach people how to do this. I chucked as I thought we had been the only ones to have messed up with money. I've since realized that we weren't. Many of our friends had a good income, but hadn't been given tools or knowledge of how to manage it well. In 2010, Richard and I had paid off all but just over $2k on the last debt, not counting the house, when my life turned upside down. Richard was involved in an accident that took his life. In a moments notice I was a widow and single mom at 41. I was grateful that we had been on this plan to pay off debt and had a term life insurance policy. It gave me time to grieve without having to worry about providing for me and the kids. If you don't have a will and a term life insurance policy in the amount of 10-12 times your annual income, go do that today. I would love to share why these 2 things are critical. After nearly 24 yrs of strong business acumen, I've decided to teach, what I've experienced and learned, to those who are teachable and have been called to action in stewarding their finances. In order to win with money, I've realized that it's 80% emotional and am sensitive in that area. I create an environment for my clients to open up to share where they are and where they want to be as we progress in this journey. Having been in a place where we felt hopeless and enslaved is one I remember, all too well. Proverbs 22:7 speaks of how the borrower is slave to the lender. I want to inject hope to your situation so that you no longer have to be enslaved. In order for me to coach you specifically, there are a couple of things that are critical to your success. 1) having the desire to win 2) being teachable 3) setting some goals 4) and being willing to take action There are a couple of ways to make that happen 1) read and gather info online 2) check out books at library 3) enroll in a course: ie: Financial Peace University or 4) consider hiring a personal financial coach. (That's me. :) ) As we embark on your journey to financial freedom, I offer 4 hrs of face to face coaching in 60 days. 2 hrs the initial visit (may include some behind the scene time for me to evaluate your cash flow plan), 1 hr 30 days later and another 1 hr 30 days after. The value of this service is priceless. The cost is $525. There are hourly options as well that we can discuss during your free consultation. As I've mentioned, my heart is the provide you with tools and coaching, specific to your situation in order to change your legacy. Proverbs 13:22 reads: a good man leaves an inheritance for his childrens children. Don't let where you've been or where you are keep you from making a difference for your children or grandchildren.
