Description
Sunflower Farms Rattery is a small rattery striving to improve temperament, structure and health in fancy rats. I do not breed to demand, and litters will only be available whenever I personally choose to breed. I do not do adoption contracts, as they are legally impractical to enforce, but I do require an application be filled out prior to purchase or an online interview conducted. I will not sell single pet rats unless proof of cagemate is provided. Pet rats will not go home before 5 weeks of age. I reserve the right to hold a rat longer than this time in cases I deem necessary. Delivery is available within 2 hours of London for a gas fee, but I prefer to meet halfway at a neutral location. If for any reason you can no longer keep your rat(s) that you purchased from me, I will take them back. Please do not place them on your own. Similarly, if one of my rats dies, please let me know when and why, for my record keeping. The vet I use and highly recommend for rats is Wellington-Baseline Animal Hospital. Their number is 519-680-1951. I breed primarily for pets, but not exclusively. If you are looking for breeding stock or feeders, contact me to discuss what you’re looking for. I do not sell live feeders and I will not sell breeding stock to someone who feeds live. As both a reptile and rat lover, it’s unnecessary to both animals involved. I choose to breed my own feeders so I know they lived a good life, and were treated respectfully and euthanized humanely. I reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone, for any purpose.
