Description
The Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre is one of Sydney's most versatile venues. The Arena readily adapts to host a range of different events such as conferences, concerts, exhibitions and dinners. Using a combination of drapes, fixed and retractable tiered seating and loose floor seating, the venue can comfortably accommodate as few as 500 or as many as 5000 people. The main Arena is supported by a range of smaller rooms that can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the event. The competitive hiring fee includes the use of a long list of event equipment. This includes stages in a variety of sizes, carpet, floor to ceiling drapes, a dance floor and retractable and floor seating, all of which can be configured to suit the event. Two large LED video screens are also available for hire at an additional cost.
How To Get to Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre
Sydney Olympic Park is accessible by bus, train, ferry and by car. For transport information phone 131 500. If you choose to drive, there are 10,000 car spaces. Casual parking is available at $5 per hour to a maximum of $25 per day. Parking for spectators at events at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre is generally available in the P3 car park on the corner of Olympic Boulevard and Sarah Durack Avenue. When this car park is full, vehicles will be directed to the P4 car park, 400 m to the west along Sarah Durack Avenue, or to another car park within the precinct. For major event days, parking can be pre-booked and pre-paid through Ticketek at any agency, over the phone on 132 849 or through the website at www.ticketek.com.au . There are various Ticketek agencies around Sydney and also Australia.

Court Hire - The main arena which is the larger of the two, can be split into 3 courts by dividing curtains. The courts are suitable for basketball, netball, indoor soccer and indoor hockey and other sports can be accommodated on request. The Hall of Legends can also be split into 2 areas and is best suited for netball, volleyball and rhythmic gymnastics. Each court is marked and set up for your booking requirements, however hirers must supply their own balls & bibs. Courts can be hired for weekly school sport. Changerooms facilities with hot showers are available. There are no lockers. Free parking for court users is available in the adjacent carpark with access from Olympic Boulevard.
