I have been a Teacher Aide for 5 years. I know teaching terms and procedures. I have extensive experience with students with special needs. I have my own educational resources. A little about me… In recent years I have found my gift – my purpose in life, tutoring/teaching children with special needs. All children have the right to be themselves and to be proud of who they are! I know with team work between the therapists, parents and I we can all achieve great outcomes for your child/children. I will consult with your child’s classroom teacher, this helps to focus on your child’s needs and areas that need improving. I have the following permits/certificates: Blue Card Holder First Aid Certificate Insurances ABN Each student has their own individual style of learning. I customise their lessons based on ‘how’ they learn: *Strategy *Visual Learning *Repetition *Confidence Building *Step by step procedures Importantly – Learning has to be fun! I am happy to speak with you on your child’s needs – Tarnie 0423 200 712 I also provide a pick up/drop off service for the north side of Brisbane. Area’s including Chermside, Kedron, Stafford, Stafford Heights, Geebung and surrounding areas. If you are just outside these areas, please call me and I’m sure we could work something out.
