Tassel & Twine is a seasonal collection of uniquely handcrafted, contemporary Homewares, in textiles and woven materials. Our primary focus is to work with artisans, craftspeople, women’s collectives and NGO’s throughout South East Asia. At the present our focus is in India. Some of these crafts are centuries old, and are now struggling to survive with the onset of Western development. By working with these people it keeps their craft sustainable and puts money and resources back into the community, so that these villages earn enough to survive. Giving back directly to these villages helps their current needs and development for future generations. Tassel & Twine is about engaging and connecting to people, sharing their stories, and educating people about traditional crafts.
